These Moments

When I’m lying looking up at the stars,
Through the cracks in some leafless branch,
Thinking about how insignificant we are,
And thinking how small I am,
When that night sky glistens to life,
And I howl at the moon in my mind.

These are the moments I realise that you made me,
These are the moments I remember that you had me,
Oh, oh, you can have me.

When I’m in the splittings of a new dawn,
Walking drenched in some foreign storm,
The rain falling upwards under my form,
And I take shelter in your memory,
I walk slowly to prove that I am man,
Then I walk slower because I can.

These are the moments I realise that you made me,
These are the moments I remember that you had me,
Oh, oh, you can have me.

When I’m sat motionless in some foreign truck,
Staring out the window at my luck,
A lonely passenger who just can’t get enough,
And I think to myself I’d like to show you,
To hear your views on all I've seen,
You dance in the footsteps of my daydream,
To hear your views on all I've seen,
You dance in the footsteps of my daydream.

These are the moments I realise that you made me,
These are the moments I remember that you had me,
Oh, oh, you can have me,
Oh, oh, you can have me.
