My Imaginary Love

Lioness lives in a world of her own,
I answer her calls before she picks up the phone,
Her memory takes and takes its toll,
Skipping through the green rooms of my mind.

No need for diamond soled shoes,
My imaginary love knows nothing of the blues,
She goes around putting poison pills in my wine,
My imaginary love, she infects my mind.

One day, one day, she will lie next to me,
And breathe the air that I breathe.

Happiness is the path that she takes,
Joy and truth they spread in her wake,
She goes around putting poison pills in my wine,
My imaginary love she infects my mind.

And one fine day when my dreams and lies collide,
My imaginary love will crystallize,
Well I know I crow that I am just a man,
But my imaginary love she will understand.

One day, one day, she will lie next to me,
And breathe the air that I breathe.
And breathe the air that I breathe.
